Day 2: 6/16/03

Last Night I fell asleep before Oliver got here. He seems to be a nice guy so far, he is relly smart. I had breakfast with Oliver, Ge, and Mat in the hotel but their food isn't al lthat great. After breakfast we drove around town for a awhile and visited "The Black Hole." It is just a big scrapyard of stuff from LANL and also a hillarious anti-nuclear arms "Church." We then visited the Meuseum and went to a lecture about the history of the Los Alamos Nation Lab and how it changes over time. Later we Learned abour CCD cameras, how they work and about noise and how to get a accurate image. It was really interesting I thought. We made a few color images using filters to practice using the software and camera. we went to a resturante for dinner and I had Salmon. Me and the other guys got together for a little study session for the GET training. We ended up just making fun of the illistrations and stupid questions in the book and them watched a funny movie on TV until 12.
