The Fenton Hill Site, with the Observatory Pad in the center, photo taken September 1998.

Fenton Hill is located in the Jemez Mountains of northern New Mexico, about 35 miles west of Los Alamos at an altitude of 8,680 feet. The Fenton Hill area is still under development, but currently hosts the MILAGRO experiment, RAPTOR, some radio antennae and will host other astrophysical instruments including a radio phased array. The descriptions for some of these projects are provided through links listed below.

The site has also been the focus of an Earthwatch Student Challenge Awards Program for talented high school students funded by the Durfee Foundation.
